For: Middle School Students (Ages: 11-13)

The Art of Mind Mapping is targeted at students that want to take their studying skills to the next level. The mind mapping technique has been scientifically proven to enhance students’ memorization and learning by 10%-15% (Farrand P, Hussain F, Hennessy, 2002). It is also thought to be a learning strategy as old as Aristotle. Students learn to use their brain capacity to its fullest by connecting in a free-form but focused way different concepts. After taking this course, students will be able to:

  • organize their studying more effectively
  • deeply connect with and understand any content at hand
  • read at a faster pace and pinpoint key ideas for more effective learning
  • remember what they’ve learned twice as well

This course succeeds in helping students feel confident in learning and memorizing any material since mind mapping allows for creativity to flourish in the student’s brain. Students should come to the sessions committed and ready to deliver asynchronous work.

It is highly suggested to take this masterclass after having completed the “Studying Strategies to Alleviate Stress” masterclass.

The content of the book was not hard for me, but with mind-mapping I was able to remember easier the details of the book, and in the end, write a better essay.
