Michela Martines

Michela Martines holds dual citizenship from Italy and Norway. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex and completed her Master’s degree from the same university in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health. She continued her education by successfully completing a four-year training and supervision program in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy specializing in children, adolescents, parents, and educators at the Hellenic Institute for RECBT.

Ms. Martines has been a part of the ACS Athens community since 2017. This is her fourth year as a member of the Optimal Learning Program (OLP) Department, where she has worked with students of all ages (K-12). As an OLP Specialist, Ms. Martines’ passion and focus are on supporting students through their learning process. Her teaching philosophy is that all students have the ability to learn and to be successful. She loves working with students and providing them with the platform to reach their full potential.

Ms. Martines has lived in Greece for five years and has loved learning about the culture and its friendly people. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and playing volleyball.
