Head Coach Women’s Team – the University of Maryland
Brenda Frese is the Head Coach for the University of Maryland Women’s team. As a head coach she has 18 years of experience in three universities: Ball State, Minnesota, and University of Maryland; she has had 14 NCAA tournament appearances, two consecutive final four appearances (2014 & 2015), and one national championship (2006). She holds an impressive record of 474 wins and 143 losses (.768).
Coach Frese is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Big Ten Coach of the Year (2002-2015) and ACC coach of the year (2013).
